THE BIBLE

We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God and the final standard for faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 119:105; Hebrews 4:12).

god the Father

We believe in one God who eternally exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

jesus christ

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, lived sinlessly, died for our sins, rose bodily, ascended to heaven, and will return in power and glory. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

salvation

We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, evidenced by repentance, new birth, and a transformed life. (Ephesians 2:8–9; John 3:16–17; 2 Corinthians 5:17).

water baptism & holy communion

We believe in water baptism by immersion for believers and in Communion as sacred ordinances commanded by Christ. (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3–4; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26).

baptism of the holy ghost

We believe in the baptism with the Holy Spirit as empowerment for witness and service. We affirm tongues as a biblical sign associated with Spirit baptism and the continued operation of the gifts of the Spirit, exercised with love, order, and accountability. (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1–4; 1 Corinthians 14:1, 26, 40).

healing & wholeness

We believe God still heals today according to His will, and we pursue prayer, wisdom, and care for the whole person. (James 5:14–16; Isaiah 53:4–5; Mark 16:17–18).

last things

We believe in the return of Christ, the resurrection of the dead, final judgment, and eternal life for the redeemed. (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Revelation 20:11-15; Matthew 24:42-44).
